We came up with the idea to launch an independent brand as we were looking for a compromise between swing comfort and everyday style. Clothing for the casual golfer who doesn’t need technical apparel but wants to look good and feel comfortable when going for a quick round of golf between a business meeting and a night out.



A premium and ethical apparel brand … “Designed for golf, made for every day.”


When we founded our company, we knew our visual identity had to be simple, memorable, and unique. So we chose Nine of Clubs. In a busy schedule that often only allows for nine holes of golf (instead of eighteen), the number nine is one we can always count on. And with its striking visual representation as a Nine of Clubs (or Nine of Cloves), it's easy to use in any application that aligns with our company identity.

With ethical business principles at the core of our brand promise, we have searched for European production facilities and ended up in Portugal, a well-known destination for premium fashion ateliers. Our clothing is crafted by hand in small factories in Portugal with premium and sustainable fabrics such as organic cotton and recycled polyester.

For us, it was vital to have a purpose fit with the ateliers, and we went for a final physical check of our ateliers in Porto to ensure we selected the right partners.
